About the Role

We’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented Social Media Video Producer / Editor to join the team at Strata Creative.
This role is all about showcasing client services through high quality short-form content — think Instagram Reels, Facebook videos, and behind-the-scenes photo/video content for local businesses.

You’ll support the creative direction set by our Lead Producer and Social Media Specialist to help bring client content to life. You’ll film on-site content, edit reels & videos, and work alongside our team to make sure every piece is engaging, trending, and represents each client the right way. For gear: if you don't have it, we do! All required production and storage equipment can be supplied as needed— just show up ready to create.

This is a W-2, part-time position with semi-flexible scheduling. Work is mostly remote, but you’ll travel to client businesses and occasionally visit the office for: meetings, pick up gear, or edit on-site if needed.

What You'll Do:

  • Film and produce short-form video content for a variety of clients 

  • Edit client videos

  • Capture photo content

  • Collaborate with our team on content strategy

  • Organize, prep, and deliver final content for scheduling

  • Assist on larger video shoots when needed

Requirements

  • Fundamental experience with audio, lighting, and filming with a DSLR or mirrorless

  • Proficiency with editing software (Final Cut Pro, Premiere or Resolve)

  • Basic understanding of social media videos and video formatting

  • Proficient photography skills

  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license to travel to clients

  • Ability to lift and carry up to ~30 lbs

  • Strong attention to detail and an eye for what performs well on social media

  • Strong time-management & communication 

  • Flexible daytime availability

  • A self-starter who’s a great communicator, dependable, organized, and takes pride in their work
