About the Role

Strata Creative is a digital marketing agency based in the Williamsport, PA area. We work with trades, service businesses, and local brands across Central PA.

We don’t do stock photos, generic content, or shoot on a phone. We show up on-site, film real work with real equipment, and turn it into high quality content and campaigns that generate leads.

We’re hiring the second core content team member to help run production and execution alongside the creative director & founder.

This Role Is Not for Everyone. This is not a sit-at-home editing job. This is not a highly structured, clock-in/clock-out role.

You’ll be:

- At businesses, events, and on job sites (construction, outdoors, automotive shops, etc.)
- Switching between filming, editing, and marketing week-to-week
- Expected to take ownership, not wait for instructions

What You'll Do:

The purpose of the Content Creator & Marketing Specialist role is to own end-to-end content production (filming, editing, media management) and support marketing execution (ad campaigns, reporting, content scheduling) across our growing client list.


Production + Editing (Core Focus)

  • Film content days on-site (2–3 hours per shoot)

  • Edit short-form content (Reels, TikTok, Facebook) using retention-focused techniques

  • Create ad variations (hooks, pacing, captions, different versions)

  • Turn raw footage into usable, organized assets

Content + Marketing Support

  • Help develop hooks, captions, and basic creative direction

  • Support ad creative production and testing variations

  • Assist with content scheduling and campaign execution

  • Help organize reporting and performance tracking

Systems + Execution

  • Keep files, footage, and deliverables organized

  • Manage deadlines and production flow

  • Implement feedback quickly and accurately

  • Maintain clean handoffs between production and marketing

Requirements

Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
  • The ability to confidently handle on-site content production (critical)

  • Experience with cameras, lighting, and audio equipment

  • You have experience editing video (short-form specifically, not on a phone)

  • You have a portfolio/reel that proves it

  • You’re comfortable working on job sites and traveling locally

  • You’re organized and can manage multiple projects

  • You don’t need constant direction to get things done



Strong Advantages
  • Experience with short-form content (Reels, TikTok, Shorts)

  • You can edit short-form content that’s clean, engaging, and platform-ready

  • Any exposure to paid social (Meta ads, creative testing)

  • Drone experience (Part 107 or willingness to get it)

  • Experience managing content pipelines or client work

  • Experience with AI systems and automated workflows

  • Experience with client & project management systems (Dubsado, Honeybook, Notion, Monday, Airtable, Clickup, Asana)
